Smith County is the biggest market we work, Tyler at the center with commercial buildouts, retail and medical pads, and residential ranging from in-town remodels to acreage builds south toward Whitehouse and Bullard and north up the I-20 corridor to Lindale. It's also the most regulated work we do, with real engineering oversight and enforced stormwater control on commercial sites.
Soil across the county
Sandier than the counties to the west, coarser sand and sandy clay over deeper sandy clay. It digs and drains faster than Blackland clay, which changes compaction and pad-moisture specs, and it erodes faster on bare ground, so stabilization has to go down sooner.
Permits & jurisdictions
City of Tyler enforces full stormwater and erosion control on disturbed sites above an acre, and commercial demolition can trigger TDLR coordination and asbestos survey requirements. Lindale and Whitehouse follow similar standards. Unincorporated Smith County is permit-light for residential land clearing.
