Walk The Watershed
We walk the site and back into pond size from the watershed feeding it, not from your acreage. Too little upslope and it goes dry in summer; too much and the spillway has to carry more. We get the ratio right first.
Dig, Shape & Seal The Bowl
We cut the bowl deep enough to beat evaporation, compact the walls and bottom in lifts so clay seals naturally, and plan a clay liner where sandy soil won't hold on its own.
Build The Spillway & Place The Spoil
Every pond gets a controlled overflow on the contour, armored where it needs it, so a 5-inch rain exits without cutting the dam. Excavated material gets spread as pasture fill or hauled, your call, settled at the estimate.
