M&M Excavation is an owner-operated excavation and dirtwork business serving East Texas. You can reach us at Michaeljames515@yahoo.com or (903) 603-0528.

Frontend Horizon builds and runs this website and the system that receives your requests for us. It handles your information only on our behalf.

We only get what you choose to send through one of the two forms on this site.

The contact form

• Your first and last name and your phone number
• Your email address, if you give one
• The service you need
• Project details, if you add any
• How you heard about us, if you tell us

The estimator

• Your email address and phone number
• The service you priced and the price range the estimator showed you
• A preferred day and time of day for us to reach you, and whether you'd like a call, a text or an email
• Your budget range and project details, if you add them

When you send either form, the site adds some details about your visit to your request:

• Which form you used and the page it was on
• The page you arrived on and the website, search or campaign that sent you there. If you have visited before, this is your most recent visit that came from somewhere else, not your first.
• Campaign tags in the link you followed, and ad click ids from Google, Meta or Microsoft if the link carried one
• Your device type (phone, tablet or computer), your browser's language and time zone, and the browser and system description it sends with every page (its "user agent")
• Your IP address, and the country it points to. We look the country up on our own server from a free IP database, to help filter spam. We don't work out any other location from your IP address.
• Your Google Analytics id, when that analytics cookie is present in your browser

Our lead system then adds two things of its own:

• A phone check. We ask Twilio whether your number is valid, whether it is a mobile, landline or internet line, and which carrier it belongs to.
• A score. Each request gets an automatic score, worked out from the service you chose and your phone line type, which helps us decide which requests to follow up on first.

When you send a request

Our own visit log (see section 5) records that a request was sent, with the service, which form you used, its score and whether our spam check flagged it. It does this whatever your analytics choice, so that we can count requests even when an email fails. It never includes your name, email or phone number, and it is linked to your earlier visits only while analytics is on.

• To reply to you, give you a quote, schedule a visit and do the work
• To email you a short confirmation that we received your request, which we may send if you gave us an email address
• To keep spam out, using automatic checks on what a request contains, how soon after the page loaded it was sent and the country your connection comes from
• To decide which requests to follow up on first, using the score above
• To learn which pages, searches and campaigns bring us requests

We do not sell your information. This site loads no advertising or remarketing pixels.

Google Analytics

Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser so we can count visits and see which pages people view, which phone and email links they tap, how far they get through our forms, when a request is sent, how quickly pages load and the choice made in the cookie banner. It uses Google's Consent Mode, which follows the choice you make below.

Elevi

We also use Elevi, Frontend Horizon's own analytics tool, to see how visitors use this site: the pages you view, where you click and scroll, which forms you start, how fast pages load, errors, and the ad or website that brought you here. It keeps a random ID in your browser to connect your visits. Elevi is off when you turn analytics off under Cookie preferences or your browser sends Global Privacy Control.

Our own visit log

The site keeps a random visitor id and a visit id in your browser's storage (not a cookie). With them it records the pages you view (their address, title and any campaign tags), the website that sent you, your device type and window size, and which buttons, links and form fields you click, by their label, never what you type. This log is stored in Frontend Horizon's database. It does not store your IP address.

Where your visit came from

So that a later request can be credited to the search or campaign that brought you, the site keeps the source of your visit in your browser for up to 90 days, or only for that visit if analytics is off when you arrive. Turning analytics off does not clear a source already stored; it is replaced the next time you arrive from another site or campaign.

Your choices

• Analytics is on by default. The "Cookie preferences" link in the footer turns it off at any time.
• If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, analytics is turned off automatically.
• Visitors in the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland start with Google Analytics off. Elevi and our own visit log can't tell where you are, so they run until you turn analytics off.
• Turning analytics off doesn't delete cookies already in your browser. You can clear them in your browser settings.

Besides us, these service providers handle your information for us:

• Frontend Horizon runs the website and our lead system. It stores each request in its content management system, keeps the visit log and our request records in its database, emails each request to us, and receives a copy of each request by email. The email we receive may include a priority grade worked out automatically from your answers. The grade is not stored. A request that the content management system's spam check flags is stored and emailed to no one.
• Supabase hosts those databases.
• Resend delivers the emails Frontend Horizon's content management system sends about your request. The website itself sends no email. If you give us your email address, we may send you a short confirmation that we received your request; replies go to M&M Excavation.
• Twilio checks your phone number (see section 3).
• Google provides Google Analytics (see section 5).

We keep your request, and the details recorded with it, as long as we need it to respond to you and for our business records. Our web server's logs also hold a copy of each request.

You can ask us to send you a copy of the information we have from you, to correct it, to delete it, or to stop following up. Email Michaeljames515@yahoo.com or call (903) 603-0528. You can turn analytics off at any time with the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer. Depending on where you live, you may have further rights.

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, but no website or email system is perfectly secure.

This site is meant for adults considering excavation and dirtwork services. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we'll delete it.

When we change this policy, we update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.

• The site is provided as-is, for general informational purposes. Pricing examples (cost ranges, timelines, project values) are illustrative and not binding offers, every M&M project gets a written, signed scope and price after an on-site walkthrough.
• License and insurance information shown on the site is accurate to the best of M&M's knowledge as of the date at the top of this page. Certificates of insurance and license verification are available on request.
• Photos and project descriptions on the site reflect real M&M jobs. Where a project page names a third party, that party has consented to M&M referencing the project publicly.
• By using the site, you agree to the laws of the State of Texas governing any dispute related to your use of the site.
